Keplic manufactures high-quality Main Switchboards (MSBs) designed for safe, efficient, and reliable power distribution across various industries. Our switchboards are built to withstand the demanding conditions of Power, Oil & Gas, Commercial, and Industrial sectors, ensuring uninterrupted operations and enhanced safety.
KEPLIC Switchboards have been designed, manufactured, and type tested according to the latest international standards and Kuwait’s governmental standards & regulations. This guarantees compliance, durability, and top-tier performance in challenging environments.
Engineered for optimal efficiency, our MSBs feature robust construction, advanced protection systems, and user-friendly designs, making them the ideal choice for critical power infrastructure.
SALIENT FEATURES: |
· Modularity: The switchboards feature complete modularity in all three axes (length, width, and height). They are designed with a base module of 150mm, which is multiplied for cubicle or cellular types. Box-type switchboards are assembled using bolted/welded methods. The structure is designed to minimize welding to prevent corrosion during installation. |
· Corner Joint and Framework: The switchboards utilize a unique corner joint and framework system constructed from 2mm to 2.5mm steel profiles, incorporating 3 to 4 bends. This design ensures the rigidity and strength of pillar profiles, particularly for cubicle and cellular types. |
· Ingress Protection: External cladding and doors of the switchboards are equipped with proper gaskets to ensure a standard level of IP42 to IP52 ingress protection. It can also be manufactured to a thickness of 1.5mm or 2.0mm upon request. |
· Functional Units: Functional units within the switchboards are classified based on their level of compartmentalization and type of electrical connection. This classification ranges from FORM 1 to FORM 3b. |
· Flexibility in Dimension: The physical dimensions of the functional units can be varied in all three axes, allowing for optimization of design in terms of overall dimensions, heat dissipation, serviceability, and maintenance. |
· Arcing Protection: Additional arcing protection can be provided as per requirements for modular-type panels. This feature enhances safety by redirecting overpressure and gases away from the operator and adjacent functional units in the event of internal faults. |
· Extension Options: Cubicle and box-type panels offer the option to add side extensions for accommodating additional control components and bottom extensions for box-type panels. |
· Cableway Accessibility: The cableway can be accessed from the front or rear and from the top or bottom. It can be adjusted to accommodate cables of various sizes, providing flexibility in cable management. |
