LOCAL CONTROL CUBICLE (LCC)
for 400 kV GIS and 132 kV GIS

Introduction

The Local control cubicle (LCC) includes all equipment necessary for control of the high-voltage apparatus of Gas Insulated Switchgear. In that LCC’s as an interface between high voltage equipment and remote control and protection cubicles.

The Control cubicle provides a safe operation with needed functions such as control, position, and alarm indication, interlocking, protection, and supervision of GIS parts, protection, and remote interfaces.

The Protection Cubicle provides complete protection of the GIS bay and its other electrical primary components.
